Product Description
Dark times have spread over the world of Gaia. Four separate governing nations, some blinded by their short-sighted greed, some persevering in the name of justice, are battling on and off in a deadly game for power. One kingdom, that of Lindblum, headed by the honorable and trustworthy Regent Cid, finally decides to take a stand against the unspeakable massacres by the troops of Alexandria.

Enlisting the aid of mere bandits to kidnap Princess Garnet of the Alexandria Empire, for information and interrogation, Garnet and her bodyguard actually join Cid's cause, knowing full well the outlandish recklessness of the governing Queen, who counterattacks with an onslaught of warriors. Thus begins a crossfire that would engulf the world in something far worse than political standoffs.

Out of the band of thieves, one boy along with his entourage must battle his way through several awe-inspiring challenges to restore order and peace.

Easily one of the most underrated FF games (2009-03-10)
It's truly an epic and exhilarating game. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise. True FF fans will buy this game and love it.

OMG GET THIS! (2009-03-05)
I LOVED the game!
*There are characters you come to love (for me Vivi) and hate (or at least dislike[for me Stiener]
*There are soooo many great and interesting minigames that you can play
-chochobo treasure hunt
-the frog catching game
-card game
-etc
*The battle's are good, and the story is very interesting
It's definetly worth its money and more!

Also a GREAT GAME! (2009-02-25)
I'll try to keep this short by just saying things that stuck out to me:

1) The story is pretty good. A little familiar to the plots of FF's... oh, 1-5 maybe, but good. There are definitely enough differences.

2) Levelling up isn't that hard, but learning abilities can be a little annoying. You level up by the equipping armor/weapons that teach them. So if you come across, let's say, a more powerful magic wand for your black mage that teaches... let's say Flare but you haven't fully learned Osmose (and these are just examples), you need to keep the first one till you get enough AP to learn it without that weapon. Hopefully that makes sense; I know it's been somewhat of a hindrance to me when I play.

3) The music is definitely good... but I think 8's is better--though I like the regular-fight music more in 9 than in 8.

4) Summoning isn't possible until I think either the tail-end of Disc 1 or the beginning or so of Disc 2.

5) The ending is FANTASTIC. Kinda long though.

Overall, I love this game. It's well worth buying!

it continues (2009-02-22)
I have been a fan of the series and this game just continues with the greatness!

FF!X (2009-02-13)
It is one of my favorite FF's. I have been playing it since the day I got it. Love the story line and the characters. just wish you could use the eidelons sooner. I always love using them. But, still enjoy it, muchly.
